Phyllis
I hope things went ok for Ponyboy at this meeting

It is hard to forgive and forget when someone does something so low, and I do agree that there is a need to ensure that this is not done to another inncocent victim. It will be really good when this whole thing is settled, as this really cant be good for Gene's health either, and must be putting so much strain on all of their emotions.

Hi, friends. I really wish, I had better news. Just, as I predicted, it doesn't look, as though, they plan to do ANYTHING to the SCUM, who,
assaulted our sweet Holly. I spoke with Gene on Friday and I was told that the meeting that they had didn't go well, at, all. I mean, they KNOW, this SCUM has done the same thing to other people.
Still, he gets to go free, while, Holly continues to suffer.
Dammit!

Hi Phyllis

please do let Gene know that I do pray for him and his family

I am hoping that, even though they may not feel that justice is being done in this situation, yet that they will also try to move on from it.
There comes a point where we have to let go or it just drags us down.
I have learned in my own life that sometimes I just have to leave things in God's hands when I cant find solutions for them myself
I pray peace and healing for Gene and Holly

and lots of (((hugs))) for you Phyllis

Thank you, Chemar, for your reply. Yes, I agree, sometimes, we DO
need to let go when we can't find the solutions. But, then again, WE'RE not
the ones, who have to keep explaining to our child that she can, no longer,
go out-doors & enjoy riding her bike as she once could, all, because of some
S.O.B., who, needs to be put away, because, he's taken so much of her
life away. Do you know what that does to Gene, whenever, Holly
says, she wants to go out & ride her bike, like, she could before?
That kills him. And, it kills ME, not, being able to do anything for
them.
