I received an email the other day from a really good and kind friend, but I was soooo shocked to see it was part of a letter doing the rounds that was urging everyone to flood the ACLU with Christmas Cards showing Christmas trees and Nativity scenes and, in the words of the letter "showing them the real reason for the season" my first thought (before I rapidly deleted the email) was "what a totally UN-Christian thing to do..........."  so seeing your post here sure made me nod my head over many of the points mentioned, and reminded me of a quote I read somewhere that we are meant to be witnesses, not lawyers, for our faith
