Thanks so much, everyone, my answer came last night in the form of a big, fat "NO", so now I wait for the next chapter of this farce I call my life.

The gist of my objective was to finagle a way to buy this place and keep it. It was a long shot and apparently, my Nerf gun just wasn't up to the job.

Oh well, God will send me on my way somehow.

Awww, Nappy, I'm sorry for your disappointment. *sigh

I'm with Alffe: either something better will happen, or you'll look back and know why it was best you didn't get it. Hopefully both.

But still, it's a hard pill to swallow when you have your heart set on something.



Tuning into the Way-Back Machine with Mr. Peabody:

I remember calling my future DH to tell him about THE apt. I found for us. I was SO excited!

And then it fell through and I hung up on him while he was trying to comfort me, because I was bitterly disappointed. (stupid me)

But another one became available that wasn't so many flights up and we liked it just fine for our first 8 months together.


I'll keep praying for blessings on you, dear Cindy. Things will work out for you ... I know they will.

Aww, Cindy, I'm sorry things didn't work out like you wanted them to.

Whenever I feel like my prayers are not being acknowledged I try to remember this chorus from a Garth Brooks song:

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.
