That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.

I pray that you're soon shown the direction you're to take.
It's an interesting notion, Kell, but I am a firm believer that God hears and answers all prayers. Sometimes it's "yes", others it's "no", and the rest are "wait".

I'm hoping on a "wait" but acting on a "no"; He gave me a brain and I think He expects me to use it. I think. I suppose. I assume. At least it seems that way...

Aw Nappy, I'm sorry it was a no.

I also feel that God knows your plight and has a better plan for you. You're one of His special ones and I just know He's going to lead you to a good place. We want you in a spiffy, convenient little place surrounded by good people and all that you need nearby.

Oh well, God will send me on my way somehow.
This is the place with the longggg...cold snowy winters?

I thought of you Cindy when I read C.S.Lewis's words...

"When I lay (my) questions before God I get no answer. But a rather special sort of NO answer. It is not the locked door. It is more like a silent, certainly not uncompassionate, gaze. As though He shook His head not in refusal but in waiving the question. Like, "Peace, child; you don't understand."

This poem was written by the mother of a severely disabled child. I hope it eases your mind Cindy in knowing that He is listening.

And God Said No

I asked God to take away my pride. And God said "No".
He said it was not for Him to take away, but for me to give up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. And God said "No".
He said her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience. And God said "No".
He said patience is a by-product of tribulations. It isn't granted, it is earned.

I asked God to give me happiness. And God said "No".
He said He gives me blessings, happiness is up to me.

I asked God to spare me pain. And God said "No".
He said suffering draws me apart from worldly cares and brings me closer to Him.

I asked God to make my spirit grow. And God said "No".
He said I must grow on my own. But He will prune me to make me fruitful.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. And God said "No".
He said He will give me life, that I may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me love others, as much as he loves me.
And God said "Ah, finally you have the idea!"

I think the answer is 42.

Seriously, it's out there for you, but I truly do not think it is in the snowy cold. I think it's in a warm friendly place that has a space big enough for you and your supersized heart!

Keep looking and keep your chin up, suck in a few deep breaths and let us know where it goes!

Well, I haven't responded to this thread yet, b/c I've been praying for the ''right'' outcome and as we have communicated, just not sure what it is. I pray that the brick will hit ya and you'll have the right answer soon.

And, NO Twerpy~~ AMN cannot move in w/me, but she can have old Spot's quarters in the backyard. May ole Spot rest in peace.
