Aw Nappy, I'm sorry it was a no.
I also feel that God knows your plight and has a better plan for you. You're one of His special ones and I just know He's going to lead you to a good place. We want you in a spiffy, convenient little place surrounded by good people and all that you need nearby.

I thought of you Cindy when I read C.S.Lewis's words...
"When I lay (my) questions before God I get no answer. But a rather special sort of NO answer. It is not the locked door. It is more like a silent, certainly not uncompassionate, gaze. As though He shook His head not in refusal but in waiving the question. Like, "Peace, child; you don't understand."

This poem was written by the mother of a severely disabled child. I hope it eases your mind Cindy in knowing that He is listening.
And God Said No I asked God to take away my pride. And God said "No". He said it was not for Him to take away, but for me to give up. I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. And God said "No". He said her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary. I asked God to grant me patience. And God said "No". He said patience is a by-product of tribulations. It isn't granted, it is earned. I asked God to give me happiness. And God said "No". He said He gives me blessings, happiness is up to me. I asked God to spare me pain. And God said "No". He said suffering draws me apart from worldly cares and brings me closer to Him. I asked God to make my spirit grow. And God said "No". He said I must grow on my own. But He will prune me to make me fruitful. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. And God said "No". He said He will give me life, that I may enjoy all things. I ask God to help me love others, as much as he loves me. And God said "Ah, finally you have the idea!"

I think the answer is 42.
Seriously, it's out there for you, but I truly do not think it is in the snowy cold. I think it's in a warm friendly place that has a space big enough for you and your supersized heart! Keep looking and keep your chin up, suck in a few deep breaths and let us know where it goes!

Well, I haven't responded to this thread yet, b/c I've been praying for the ''right'' outcome and as we have communicated, just not sure what it is. I pray that the brick will hit ya and you'll have the right answer soon.
And, NO Twerpy~~ AMN cannot move in w/me, but she can have old Spot's quarters in the backyard. May ole Spot rest in peace.
