Tammy, I'm so sorry. I'm lifting you and yours in prayers.

I need to pause to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers...I've been kinda numb or indifferent, don't know. He was two years older than me. He was a fighter and when he was diagnosed over four years ago he was given 3 to 6 months to live...he said no. He was told many times that same thing. This January he was told 3 to 6 and they stopped treating him and put in on Hospice care. He had simple cell carcinoma. It went from his lungs to his throat to his brain. He still smoked at least 3 packs a day. About a week before he passed he wasn’t able to hold a cigarette so they took them away.

I feel that yes he is out of pain and resting however I feel that his daughters needed the rest far more than he did…don’t take that wrong. He was fighting up to the end. He was very determined that this thing wasn’t going to take him.

I love you all for your friendship or should I call it familyship…love you all!!

I have added a link to his obituary and in that link there is a guest book where you can offer your condolences.
