Default What can I do to stop being disappointed about waiting for Jesus to come?

This is what frustrates me and makes me want to not pray. I don't know why I am so relied on Jesus coming soon and then get too anxious and disappointed when I don't feel satisfied.

Default Hi Advice Pro

Welcome to neurotalk. Do you have a pastor who you can talk to? I think that he can help you with this.

We are getting close. Read Matthew 24 in the New Testiment. Bible prophecy is coming to pass.

I felt the same way. Then I realized I'm going to have to be patient. Blessed are those who are ready, for they will see Him in the clouds, and there will be Great Glory on that day.

Please be patient. Brokenfriend

Hello and Welcome to Neuro Talk!!

For me when I need to get closer I just pray more and spend time in the word. Don't allow satan to play mind games with you. Ask yourself if Jesus were to return today would your loved ones be ready? This isn't home and someday we will be home. Until we get there keep living your life up for the Lord.

Take care,
Sherrie

I agree with the others. I've always heard that time in Heaven is like a blink of the eye. What's long to us is nothing in Heaven. I'd like to think of it as Heaven giving us time to get ready.

Keep in mind Jesus is always with us and in us.... Of course I want to "meet" Him too... so, hopefully that will be soon enough...

In the mean time, I agree... praying help me feel Him closer

Remember we are here only in preparation for Heaven....
