Default Today...

Today- I had my first visit with my psychologist (for cognitive therapy). It went pretty well. I was impressed with all of his diplomas and such. LOTS of education! He has a Phd., of course. He pretty much just let me talk about what was on my mind, and told me his game plan for our sessions. I'm going back to see him in 2 weeks. Same day, same time. So I guess I will have to keep my new schedule for a while. He's not even at his office on Mon. or Thu. so I will have to keep seeing him on Tue. That's okay though. It gives me 2 days off in a row that way. (Tue. and Wed. now). He explained how we were going to talk about all of the trauma in as much detail as I was comfortable. And let me know about coping mechanisms he would teach me to implement. And how we are going to retrain my thinking patterns. I was so very glad for that. He is going to be worth every penny. I have no problem paying as much as he asks. I will, of course have to pay my mom back the money she is lending me for the visits. But all things in due time. And she is patient with me on this matter. So all's well that ends well. And I am feeling pretty well. Also, went today after my appt. and got an official copy of my birth cert., then went and got my ID card renewed, so that my plans for tomorrow will go smoothly. I'm going with my ex tomorrow morning to file for our divorce. I figure it will be much quicker and easier with him present, that way I don't have to serve him and wait 30 days. My friend, who did the same thing, says that we will see the judge at 11:00 am, so hopefully, we will be divorced tomorrow. But you never can tell how long these things will take. Anyway, That's all for now. Peace, and Love,

-Cgirl-
