they're not really tics, they are extrapyramidal side effects from the Prolixin. Stopping abruptly is not ideal but he is worried the side effects will become irreversible.
Were her symptoms well controlled before starting Prolixin? Was the goal symptom improvement or compliance management? Has she previously tried alternative augmenting agents to Zyprexa? |
