Default Hi to new members . . .

Just thought I'd take this opportunity to welcome everyone who ventures here, and also to introduce myself.

I am a fairly active member on the MS forum, as that is my dx (and life). However, once upon a time, Schizophrenia was a very big part too, as my mom was dx schizophrenic.

My mom passed away in 2000 (from cancer), but I do have years of hands-on experience with this disease. I volunteered as a moderator here, because I think I can relate to you and your challenges.

I hope you find comfort, support and understanding here.

Cherie

Default looking for answers

I am new to this site, and hoping to find some answers.
I recently had a shunt put in the back of my head to relieve the pressure from a arachnoid cyst, and am now experiencing vertigo? Falling over? Bedsprins, can't lay on my back. Had the shunt adjusted yesterday, but my balance is still way off. Its been 5 weeks since the surgery, and I was hoping to be better by now.
Has anyone had this sort of issue with shunt placement?

Thumbs up A brand new life

Hello everyone.
I would like to start by saying that I have been blessed. I suffered from seizures for almost ten years after the birth of my daughter, but I have not had on since February of 2006. Reflecting back on ths time in my life still brings about painful memories. But this is my second oppurtunity for a seizure free life I prayed for:
