My Opinion on Battery Placement....

Hi All -

I had both of mine placed in the butt/hip area, one on each side. Both bothered me quite a bit from chairs, the car seat, you name it. The one on the left side was hard to reach because my left arm has RSD, so hard to reach back there...wish I had realized this would be a problem beforehand.

When I had the leads changed out on the thoracic stimulator three weeks ago, they moved the battery to the right front/side (kinda close to the ribs). Much easier to reach, but it will take time to heal and until it's more comfortable to sleep on that side I'm sure. I wanted the other battery (the one to the cervical stim) moved to the front/side also, but insurance would not cover it :(

I know everyone is different though!

Well Nanc

Maybe you got the best of both worlds so you can keep the signal remote crossover separate ya know like as if they were planted side by side, then the remote might attempt to access the both of em....... make things more difficult. I hope you have good healing and better results with the new placement!

Prayin it works out soon,

I picked up some pajama jeans yesterday when I was out shopping since I've been feeling guilty that I still can't wear jeans when sometimes I should be. Problem solved! Gotta love that there are inventions like that out there :D

Pajama Jeans!

:D I saw these adverised on TV and I thought, "How BRILLIANT!"

I live in a small Toto-like community, so I doubt any of our stores have these.
I still don't wear jeans unless I HAVE to. Not that I can't, I guess I just got spoiled while recouping as I wore sweat pants all the time.

What an awesome invention. So simple! I wish I could think of things like this and be able to collect some mailbox money.

They're pants made out of pajama-like material but made on the outside to look just like jeans and they have a drawstring inside. I feel like I may never wear regular jeans again! ;)

I wonder if the inventors thought about how helpful they'd be post-surgery? :p

That is precisely how some things get off of the ground.
