Default My "replies" not showing up

Starting a new thread...don't know if it's a glitch in the computer or me back on pain meds., but my replies to a couple of different threads haven't shown up on the forum. So rather than try to remember what I said and to whom (try to remember THAT stuff when back on pain meds. ) I decided to just post a quickie synopsis saying: hello to all, back to living on pain meds., 4 prunes are working, counting the days with you, Mark and hoping that your pain pump works, Alaska Mike. Hope that covers it all.

Hi
it sounds like you may be clicking the "preview" button instead of "submit" when you are making your posts. That is usually what has happened when posts dont show (other than when they are moderated, which yours are not )

I am smiling as I read your post (despite your frustration, but not at the 'cost' of it).......the prunes, everything....... we 'know' everything in that post is packed full of heart and soul, and it comes through and is speaking volumes.
Many hugs for you
Thanks for the update!
We Luv you mannnnn!

Default Chemar may be right on point

Hi Fiona-

When I first started posting here, things were slow to catch on for me and I did experience a phenomenon as you describe. I think Chemar was absolutely right! When I would do the click routine to submit, I think I was clicking the wrong button and getting the preview instead. Once I cleared up my med induced fog enough to look the buttons over REAL close, I realized what I had done. Quick fix. Maybe the same for you!?!

So glad the prunes are working for you at 4, I am using much more "prunage" but results are slow to flow. Exercise and Prunage, that is my self prescription. Better than an off the shelf anything with "lax" at the end if I can avoid it. LAX...... I just realized it...... I typed LAX!!!! HA HA HA, and I went through the airport bearing that name SO MANY TIMES over the years without its more effusive undertone coming forth. Can you imagine all of us who have been disgorged through that monument to travel only to realize it is Prunage for the metro basin?? HA HA HA!!!! I will tell you next time I go through there I will have a certain smile on MY FACE!! LAX.

If I am not careful, I might just maybe, only possibly, not certainly, will begin to dispense HUMOR a' la our friend Rae. Oh NO!! LAX [my family groans when I crack a joke] LAX

Methinks only those of us with such twisted humor secondary to pain, meds and sideeffects would get the LAX joke. Remember more fluids! Warm to hot to help prevent the LAX delema (sp, sorry worn out and narced myself).
Ponders if you have tried other dried fruit to promote things?? Also FYI if you get some sugar free candy (I prefer chocolate bars) and indulge in that it will sonetimes "move things along"
Just had a thought, what if rrae wants to set your "film" in LAX??

Default thanks for the tips

Makes me wonder, now, how many other replies that I "thought" I'd made never actually showed up. Oh well, just know that we've all been having a pretty good conversation, even if it turns out that it was just between me and my keyboard

By the by...bought two more jars of prunes today. Wonder if I should invest in these things? My PCP says I could go up to 10 a day if nec. Not too sure on that....may not make it to the powder room in time

Hey Fiona- Maybe we could all start a new brand 10 a Day Brand Laxaprunes. Of course we would have to have quite a disclaimer on the jar regarding powder room runs and such.

Anyway, we do know you are making it with your replies now, because "Here you Are!" Mission accomplished.

Well we dont care if you talk or type to yourself, I think we all do it at some point or another. Some days that could be better then the other option.
