Hi ,
Prialt has been mentioned on various forums here- if you use this search tool it will bring up previous threads or posts that mention it .
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/search.php

It will give you info to read until members reply here.

Smile Hello Caroline!

And Welcome!
Yes, there are several here who've had the Pain Pump.
I hope you get quick responses, some of them haven't been logged on here in awhile, summer vacations maybe. But if you want to look back thru some of their posts regarding their experiences, you can look up members and go back thru their posts......"LostMary" is very happy with hers and I think she is rather small (not sure), bobinjeffmo has some very insightful info with his experience.
I have heard a few folks make mention that they were to 'small', but maybe the pain pumps are smaller now than they used to be. Not sure, but if your Dr feels confident about it, that's a good sign.
Where does he want to put the implant?
I'll try to track down more info for you. Hang in there

Rae

Hi Caroline,
i just wanted to check up and see how you are doin. Have you been able to get some insight regarding the pain pump?
let me know if you need help finding your way around the forums here at NT.
How soon does your Dr want to try the pain pump?
How long did you have your SCS in? i'm so sorry that didn't work out for you.
Where is your RSD, and does it seem to be 'spreading' ?

I don't mean to 'bombard' you with questions!
I'm just tryin to get a better insight to what you are dealing with..then maybe we can get more info for you that pertains to your circumstances.
To be honest, I don't know much about that med 'prialt', so i'm gonna google it and see what type of med it is and what does it target.

I just want to make sure you feel 'at home' here. When i first joined Neurotalk, I kinda just lurked around several of the forums and used the 'search' feature at the top of the page to help in pinpointing certain medications or SCS information.

I'll send you a message on your profile page....
...also I'm sending you a 'friend request'

Caring,
Rae
