I waited for twofold reasons on the first drive. The surgical 6 to 8 week "let it scar in" mantra, and the fact that I was still on morphine. I never felt comfortable with the use of morphine coupled with operation of a motor vehicle.

It so happened that my withdrawal from pain management meds accelerated to be alongside the surgical calendar of healing so I actually drove to the 8 week post surgical appointment, since by then it had been long enough, AND I was no longer on the opiates. Nice tidy coincident happening.... and boy was it liberating.

I never thought of a couple of large print Danielle Steele novels as a seat cushion device! Rae, you take the cake! When you aren't sitting on them, you can entertain yourself sans glasses..... way cool! Do you want to join Charles and me in some skydiving? Maybe we could set up a large print Danielle Steele target for a nice soft landing zone!:D:D:D:ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO:
On a more serious note, I hope that big office move you are working is going well.
