As a thunderstorm is rolling in, I happened to think about how our computer, TV and other valuable electronics are plugged in to surge protectors so that lightning will hopefully not fry them. Got me wondering about my implant recharger as it sits there, in the docking station, plugged into the wall for whenever I need it. So, I called the company and they said to put it on a surge protector because if they deem that's what took it out then it does not fall under warranty.
Sorry if I'm getting a little neurotic about protecting these babies, but with the replacement cost (AND the potential for being without them and not being able to recharge the twins) has me thinking through various protective measures. |

THIS IS A BIG ONE, so I would think Rae may want to drop it to the FAQ area, gee, it probably goes in line with any manufacturer's approach to protection of the devices.

I'm not able to 'edit' this important piece of info into the FAQ thread, as the time has lapsed to post in an edit,
But Fiona (or anyone) can certainly make a new post above in the important 'sticky' section that Jo*Mar has provided... Thanks Fiona! |

Thanks for that valuable information! I have to be honest, when I saw the post about putting these things on home insurance, I laughed and laughed. I totally get it, but that's crazy--I don't have a home! I have no insurance that I pay for!
But it all makes sense... and is good to know for the future! Thanks
