Default battery placement question ...????

I have a thread in the t.n. forum about stim for face pain (t.n., o.c. etc.)
the link
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread124048.html
my question are you able to have a mammogram if your battery is placed on chest by the breast area?? I have mine under my right arm. it was placed there because of history of breast caner in family . some of the ladies who have just had PNS/SCS implants have their battery by breast area and the issues of mammogarms and such may not have been brought up . I under stand that most have theirs for backs in this forum so the battery would be on hip or the back side . so if anyone has any info or can help.. perhaps it is not a issue at al but I would be grateful for some feed back. Thank You so much .

PEACE
BMW...Tina

Hi Tina ~ I would think it would be difficult, and probably impossible since radiation would damage the unit. I may be wrong.

Probably instead of a mammogram, you'd have an ultrasound or something like that, that they can keep away from the unit. But I'm no expert on the subject ~ hopefully someone else will know for sure. I hope so! God bless and best of luck! Hugs, Lee
