Talking Great News!!! They moved my surgery up sooner :)

I know that I already have a thread but disregard that one because my new official surgery date is November 29 Yay! I am so thankful and happy that it is moved up, they gave me the news this afternoon (after they cleared things with my aortic specialist). I am so happy and this will be an early birthday present Of course, since it is moved up earlier I have more homework to keep up on so that way I can have a few days at least to rest. They you so much for everyone's encouragement and support and you have all helped me get to this point! I was so ready to give up because (its been over a year) it has taken so long and I was getting nowhere thanks to my original doctor who didn't even care about my pain I also am thankful because I have learned so much information from this site and when I originally started my journey it was in 08 and I had no one to talk to that understood and was very scared and overwhelmed! This site and our group has been a huge blessing and a lifesaver for me and I appreciate all of you who have replied to my posts and have stuck by me through all the really bad times because now I am about to get to the GREAT times again I will try to check in once and awhile but I will be really busy in preparation for everything and of course I will keep you posted about the surgery and everything! Hope everyone has a great weekend take care BIG 'sTara

Default OMG Tara

Tara

What a lovely way to wake up this morning and see this post. I'm am soooooo so thrilled for you. You absolutely deserve it. That's not long now and by Christmas you will definitely be well on your way to full recovery

Make sure you don't tire yourself out too much with all this work you need to get through first. I know it has to be done but take a break often.

Please God you will get all the relief you need soon and carry on with your studies like you so want to do

This is so exciting it really is.

Only 23 more days woooooohoooooooooooooooo

Take care Jackie

Hey Tara ~

This is GREAT news!! Gosh, it seems like you've been waiting forever to get this! Bless your heart, you must be so anxious!! This doc must be awfully busy to make you wait THIS long! I would have thought you could have gotten in sooner than the 29th!!

But at least it's better than before, huh? I'm happy for you! And you'll be healed up for Christmas too ~ well, pretty much.

I wish you the very best ~ and please keep us posted when you can. I'll be saying prayers too. God bless. Hugs, Lee

Frown Rough time right now

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that things have been pretty rough since my news! I have been going through kidney stones again and the amount of pain I am in on top of my back/legs pain is incredible! I hate kidney issues because I usually have to get the stones removed. And then my uro will not refill my meds for my IC because I have to have an appointment and of course I can't see them because I have surgery soon so now I get the fun of going out without those meds for awhile on top of everything else! I am still thankful for the surgery soon so I am not going to whine and complain on here They have my pre-op appointment scheduled for the 24th, I have never had to have one before though so this is weird but oh well. They want to do another heart thing and blood work. Anyway, this is all I have time for right now I am super busy and stressed with health, family and school related issues Hope everyone has a great week take care 'sTara.

Shocked Kidney Stones?!

Oh MY!
Tara! Oh Lord when are things gonna ease up for you!! You are one in a million.......you are giving so much support and prayers to everyone else in the midst of the worst of the worse! This pain you are dealing with has to be absolutely horrible!!
I don't know what to say. I feel helpless here. Just that, I am so glad that the healthcare team has a close eye on your heart and other issues before doing your surgery. This is very important. I'm so thankful that you are in good hands.
You don't need ANYthing else going wrong for you - you are on the brink of getting your life turned around! I still don't see how you are able to function with school. Like I said.....One in a Million

Thanks for all you do for everyone
You are a treasure.
Rae

Default Hello Rrae Congrats!

Hello, I hope this works for you. I'm hoping and praying for you! What's this aortic thing? I answered your wanting to be my friend thing! I hope you don't end up in my boat with the infection mess. Mainly because I've been driving this boat for 4 months and I think you might cause a mutiny. I'm marking your surgery date in my calendar. I'm even thinking about going back to Church. I went to mass w/Sonny-bunny. He's a Roman Catholic! Guess all those years of Sunday school sunk in! My prayers are w/you! Keep you healthy, stay out of public areas until all this is over with. Lots of Hugs, WTR Nymph

WTR Nymph,
thank you for the support, however this is 'Tara's' upcoming surgery, not mine (just wanted to clarify )

So Glad to hear you are going to church! Good for you! (big thumbs up)

WTR Nymph, Are you referring to me about my surgery and "aortic thing"? My aortic thing is a large sized aortic aneurysm that is in my heart. They have to monitor it because it could rupture like my father's did. Also, this is my third stim surgery and I am having different paddles put in since my leads have moved twice. I have read your other posts on someone else's thread and I am very sorry for your horrible medical experience and hospital experience but I don't know why you are replying on this thread about my surgery.....I hope that things do get better for you and I also understand how some hospitals and doctors can give you bad treatment. I think it is wrong and I am sorry for your pain and awful experience.
Thanks, everyone for your support and encouragement! Thank you so much Rae for your kind post! It really made my day I have had to deal with kidney stones for so long and I really hate it but thats just the way it is I hope I do help out on here and I try to be supportive when I can Take careTara
