Laugh Done Deal!

Yep, Karen, it's a DONE deal! This really IS going to happen and I'm so happy for you. You've been thru this before and you know what to expect, so there shouldn't be any anxiety. You'll be the first one for surgery even! Everything is lined up and you will be the priority.

Will be sending many prayers across the sea, dear friend

Rae

God bless and may you have the results you need.

My original foray into SCS research has led me to the world of pain. I had no idea. Being forced to become aware that so many people have life altering pain (like me), maybe I can become a little bit of an advocate for pain management.
I'm also grateful I've found people who actually understand just how much this has hurt me without even asking!

Heart Now if Dr. Smith [just a handle, not a Dr.]

Yes Paul, were he here, you would read the famous "oh the Pain, the Pain" which is that charybdis haunting of all of us who have chronic issues. Even if managed as mine well is by the Boston Scientific implant I DROVE through to programming myself with its fantastic success is present, as it is, I am ever aware the pain remains, just managed, for I do fatigue earlier than I did without the pain.

BUT and this is huge, I have returned to my profession with the the clessing of the Boston Scientific SCS. People thought I was promoting a particular brand, but I do not, for my belief is all are probably capable of delivering results such as mine IF THE PATIENT IS ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE PROGRAMMING SESSION as opposed the inane game of 20 questions with a rep at the controls. Funny that, Brent, who lives but an hour from my home is a rep, and I had hoped to do a "meet and greet" with him, however it seems I blew that one by suggesting we have coffee. Oh well......... I am just an ardent champion of LET THE PATIENT DRIVE THE PROGRAMMING SESSION. No mystery there.

Saffy/Karen you sound SO ready, and I pray, I pray, I pray this goes well for you so you may float on clouds of relief and realize your goal. Oh, and just in case you did not catch it.... You are in my prayers, Karen.

Godspeed to a recovery which brings you to the Heaven of relief,
Mark56

Thnk you .. x

Gosh, I am sat here with tears in my eyes. Am starting to get a lot on anxiety/panic feelings which I guess is normal.

Saw my Mum today and she was upset, so that obviously upset me.

Scaredyville now ...

Link Prayer Chain!

Yep, Karen, you know that's one of our strong points here. No lack of prayer warriors, that's for sure!

I'll specifically pray for PEACE to fall upon both you and your mum and that your anxiety level go down to a bare minimum. It's natural to have some anxiety, but please Lord, don't let it get the best of our Karen.

Caring Deeply,
Rae

Heart For Karen and Mum

Resolute in the passage to the next phase to manage pain in a better way, guidance in the doctors and assistants who will minister to our beloved Karen, for healing once all is finished, and for restorative awareness that all is better,
Lord hear our prayers,

You are all wonderful ... and I know those in the shadows who aren't feeling too good themselves will be thinking of me too .. that's the thing with this board.

All ready .. enjoying a glass of wine ... err it didn't say anything about NOT drinking alcohol the night before on my letter. *grin* Just got to get all my bits and pieces charged up .. I Pad, I Pod, Phone .. will try and keep in touch.

God Bless you all .. and may you feel my smile, right now.
