Default Does anyone ride a motorbike?

Well, as you know, my dearly beloved car has departed for the scrap heap. Mike said we would look into getting me a little run around after the op, but with the interest rates at the mo, and my not working, it's not looking likely.

I used to ride an automatic scooter .. and the ones these days are really stable and have seat adjustment so that you can get one to fit you perfectly.

The good side too, is that my pain is in my left leg and if I had a scooter and pulled up anywhere, my right foot would be taking any weight. (Though if you get a bike that makes you feel part of it then there's no weight there really).

I just wondered if anyone here who has a stim can manage a motorbike.

This is the sort of thing that I'm looking at:

I'm going to book a trial AFTER I've recovered from the stim and see how I go !

I used to love my little Suzuki Love 50cc .. the perfect companion. Felt part of me and we went whenever/wherever it suited; because the ideal thing is, if you come to a dead end on a tiny track, you can just up and turn round - unlike being in a car!

Mmmm the smells during the summer, of the hedgerows full of flowers ... wonderful!

I was riding a quad bike less than 7 days after my disectomy .. feel rather guilty that this perhaps caused the failed back syndrome .. oops !
