But now jolting with this cold it has all my programs off .. What a mess, I will keep you all most... Thanks again for all the warm welcomes .. Off to bed till the rep calls ... Does any of you have Boston Scientific as your implant??? Just wondering if all this programming they are having to do it normal... this will be my fourth time a little over a month .. I just want this to work!!!!!! :grouphug:

Hi Im sorry to hear of your shocks that you are getting with the new SCS you have had implanted. I imagine that the squatting didnt help, but hey your not to blame, it is difficult to try and sit easy and not bend, stretch, lift etc.
I had my implant done in August so just 5 months out. Occasionally I get a stinging pain around my battery, but the sensations are much the same as they have been since it was first turned on. I do hope you can get this rectified as soon as possible and that you will continue to use your SCS and have painfree days again!!!

Will keep you in my prayers!!

Stinging around battery

Really, Jackiey? I wonder why? I have not had any stinging feeling at all during use of this device 24/7. Does not seem as though stinging should be part of the protocol or experience.

Just a thought,

Set up my appt.

Well I called one of my Reps, and there going to check it and reprogram me on Tuesdays at the hospital, they just figured with my cold and cough they would try to hold off till it's gone .. So now I just have to keep my stumlator late so it does spasm like it was .. What a mess ... I just pray I don't have to go through any more surgery I know coughing and sneezing hasn't help the pain is terrible ... All Ive done is rest, rest, rest!! I'm just so sick of not being me anymore~ I want this nightmare to go away!!!!!

Well, thank you
Actually, the other lead that is still where it is supposed to be DOES still work (Thank God).....so it covers the burning leg pain pretty good.....BUT it's a trade off because when I have the SCS on, I get bad muscle spasms in my lower back where the migrated lead is. But, like you, I have meds for that and am just taking one day at a time and have faith that all will be rectified.

Try not to worry yourself too much. I've found that it causes pain spikes when we are under stress. Those reps are trained to troubleshoot, and I'm pretty sure you'll eventually get yours working. Especially if your unit DID work at first. This tells you that it IS capable of doing what it is supposed to do.
I'm wishing you the best and we'll keep each other updated as our 'saga's' unfold.....we can learn alot this way. That's what I love so much about this forum. We tell each other everything and it helps us all to be aware of the possibilities and risks, etc.

Hang in there, it's going to work out
Rae
