Nanc, I had pain and pressure in my stomach and lower back too from my stim, but going in and pulling the leads down fixed the problem. The doctor doesn't know why it happened because the leads were in the same location for the trial and he was also surprised how far they needed to be moved down before it was out of that area. I know it's really disheartening to think about going in for revision, but I definitely don't regret my decision, and maybe it could be a similar case for you?

My rep said at my appointment that she wishes she could just program the stim to be in my wrist too and things would be better. Wouldn't that be wonderful- one SCS that could work anywhere in the body? But I'm settling on just praying these blocks are being started early enough to do some good for now.

Hey Yellow, not sure if it is the same pain and pressure you had experienced or not. I had it with the percutaneous leads and it got real bad when they migrated. Then they went back in and changed those leads out for paddles leads, thinking it would do better and be more stable...it's still there! I wonder sometimes if it has to do with the battery that is still back there. It works the cervical stim, but it is pretty close to the painful spot.

Yeah, it's too bad that existing stim doesn't work on your wrist too! I am so glad that I had both implanted at the same time, it was rough but I am glad I did it.

Hope the blocks work for ya!!
