Yellow - do you mind if I ask what you want to go to grad school for? Your last sentence rings very true to what I am doing right now. I work in a lab affiliated with UW in Seattle - and my work involves finding less toxic cancer treatments for a very horrible childhood cancer called neuroblastoma. It may very well be that when your body is ready you should come out and interview with UW and our lab :)

Either way, I'm glad you are putting your health first. I so wish I would have, but hindsight is always 20/20 :)

Heather, wow I think that's great what you do! I have a little girl in my family who has choroid plexus carcinoma, another form of brain cancer so it has special meaning to me. She was not even 2 yet when she was diagnosed back in 2008 and I've watched all she's suffered through with her treatments. It's horrible enough that adults have to suffer through cancer but to watch a child going through the process is just devastating.

I will have my bachelor's degree in psychology and I'm going to go on to get my master's in child development and work as a developmental therapist. I've been given a gift of being good with kids and in turn they are drawn to me and open up to me, so I want to be able to use that gift to help children with developmental delays and disorders :)
