Prayers and angels coming your way; especially to cope with all you are going through. This too will pass. The smile will be back on your face; of this I am sure.

Unhappy Oh Ginnie....

I am SO sorry you are going thru all of this, Ginnie.
How can this be! How can family members DO this!

Do you have ANYbody that you trust who can help advocate for you?
This is just terrible.

I really wish there were something more we could do....

Default Dear Rae and Saffy

Yep, that is why I run back to this site for support. My legal case is still pending. I do have a good case against several of my family members. My trust needs to be broken, or otherwise amended so I can move. In the meantime I have all these blasted medical conditions to contend with. That is why I am ever so blessed to have you and NT. In the end, goodness will prevail against evil, I believe that, if not in this life then the next. I have also learned none of us on this site in any room, have it easy. I thank God daily for NT and the friends I have made here who help support me as I go forward. Thank you for caring and for your prayers. I pray for this site everyday. I know a good thing when I find it. I do have an elder abuse agency that will eventually help me with my case. I have already been through the process that determines if you have a case or not. It is just question of keeping healthy enough to see it through. Please pray for all those on this site too even if we don't know them. Also that we have no storms down here this year or anywhere else that puts people in danger. Climate change has occured. Thank you again, rae and saffy for your thoughtfulnes and caring. ginnie

Default Elder Abuse....

oh this makes my head steam.... I hope we are not talking about PHYSICAL abuse! ..... oh my Lord.
I know you probably can't say much, so I don't mean to press.
Speaking of legal issues. There have been members who had to change their user name on here because of fear that the 'offenders' would get on here and use things that have been said against them in court. I don't know if this is something you might want to consider...I'd hate to see something backfire on you for reaching out for support here. We want nothing more than to be here for you because we care so much. Maybe something to consider, but I certainly don't want to strike fear into you. It's just that I've heard of insurance companies (especially work comp) SPYING to get information. Some people will play dirty (in real life AND in cyberworld)

CARING! non-stop,
Rae

Ii am a huge believer in karma and one day they will get theirs. Until then, raise your head high and be better than them. Thinking of you. Xx

Default karma

I believe in Karma too. I know that when people are mean to each other, it comes back to giver of that meaness. That one saying...do unto others as you would have done unto you. I wish the world would do that. I don't have physical abuse in my family, but it sure is emotional abuse... I pray for those that hurt me. I am grateful for all the support of friends. ginnie

Default i asked my doc about this same thing

i askeed my doctor about this and he told me it all depends on the doc. most will still give you the oral meds due to the pump does not act the same way, they give them to you for about 3 months. just remember everyone is different one person may be ok in a month others 3 - whatever it takes. a friend of mine decided he didn't want to take morphine any more so he just stopped. six months later he still feels sick from the withdraws. good luck.

Default Hi Mark

I don't forget about you either. This site is prayed for daily. I hope you are feeling better now. There is a lousy virus, upper respiratory type thing going around down here. All of us are being extra careful in public. I try and stay home! I also am keeping the mid-western states in my prayers. Thank you Mark for keepin my life in your prayers. I still wait to hear from that pro-Bono lawyer. My health is holding steady right now, pain for the most part is bearable. Take care, and give my kindest regards to your wife. ginnie
