My Friend

Oh Lord, you hear her cry in the night
you, Oh Lord, know her inmost thoughts and needs
please grant that all things be placed aright
and give dear Ginnie an outpouring of your grace if you please
She comes and she faithfully prays
and she gives of herself in most meaningful support
one would think, our dear God, she is praying always
then to know she has need of your miracles, Oh Lord
we kneel and we call upon your stll small voice
to give clear and aloud to Ginnie so others would think it a shout
that she is your daughter, your beloved one, rejoice
and that her needs are your needs so that all around hear loud
the call to be up and to place in her heart
their blessings and care to fight evil that seeks
to bring Ginnie low and a feeling alone, not this heart!
You make it known ever blessed is she who is meek
and You seal her with power from Heaven on high
so that all who behold her know angels are near
that Ginnie will always be blessed with our Lord's purposed might
and all who draw near her will be blessed because You are here.

Amen, and may God grant all of us peace. Let our souls be revealed to the Glory of our Creator. We are all his children. Let our touch and prayers be pleasing to God. Lead us in your path the right way, let us never stray from your goodness. Teach us always the way to pray. Allow us to help each other in a way that praises you. Teach us how to accept our limitations, and be accepting of others. We are his creation, teach us the path to your kingdom. I will follow your footsteps even when I stumble. ginnie
