Fluid retention

Thank you all for the very useful replies and for the madness coming out somewhere replies (Mark!)

I agree it probably is the Lyrica, I put on terrible weight with it too.

Thanks again

Oh oh

Hi guys,

I was in some sloppy track suits and my Uggs today, later on I changed my shoes and nope I couldn't get my feet into them. I guess I have more fluid retention in my feet, also in my legs than I thought.

Thankfully my Consultant is trying to get me into the hospital by the weekend to discuss the meds and I need to discuss this fluid retention.

In anyone's opinion is it a good to keep feet up, does it help?

Feet UP

When I did lie in bed during the EDEMA time, I elevated the feet, for to do so seemed to somehow lessen the pain, although the edema was not tempered by doing so one noticeable whit.

Water drank by the bottle load, walking in the therapy pool, walking on the treadmill [not loping, not trotting, not jogging, not running] just carefully placed evenly spaced walking, plus a change up in meds resulted in bringing the edema under control.

Hi guys

Hi guys,

Well it's Friday afternoon and I'm still at home, my feet and hands are definitely still swollen and I all I can think is, it's just the meds ans I shouldnt be too worried although given that I'm to go into hospital this weekend I did tell my consultant but he can't change beds in ward. What's curious is that the last time I was in this hospital, they had beds they just didn't have the staff. We all know nursing staff isnt the problem but the government not willing to pay them.

Please God I'll be called tomorrow! I'm still feeling really, really crap.

Love to all

Please God wrap you up in His arms because yes we do believe, and place you in a bed, an available bed, a bed which He prepares for you to receive care, rest, release from swelling, perhaps changeup of meds, a piece toward the goal of healing before Easter!

Jesus, in Thee do I trust,
Prayin,
