Default Anyone have both SCS and pain pump?

Was a thought that crossed my mind as I sit here dealing with the pain the SCS's cannot relieve. I talked previously about being on small dose of morphine which helps but does have side effects and got wondering if anyone has ever had both a pain pump (that delivers the small doses of morphine without side effects) AND spinal cord stimulators. I know my first pain dr. implants both of these devices but have never thought to ask him if anyone has both within their body.

Default Hey there!

I know there have been several here who've shared that they tried one and then the other, but not sure if I've ran across anyone who has both.
I'll do some digging and see if there are some older posters who might be able to share.

Good article!

Heart Contraposing Devices

Hi Fiona- I have not heard of such an install, but it could have merit in order to allow one to accomplish what the other cannot. Rae is sure to turn up research as she is so thorough.

Prayin,
