Hi Rae,

Thanks for the prayers I need them I can tell you and to have it done sooner rather than later instead of waiting for ages on the public system.

I'll let you know on Wednesday how it all goes but that's just writing the letter and making it sound good. It could take another 2 weeks to get a reply.

How ate you these days?

Take care

Sinéad :) :)

Thanks for the updates regarding the SCS, and nerve root problem as well. Too bad the odds are so bad with the scarring returning. I know, often in many areas when scar tissue is removed, it frequently returns and sometimes even worse.

Many prayers coming your way,

(Gerry)

Hi all

Hi guys,

I have that app this evening with my pain dr to write a letter seeking approval for another SCS, please God they will agree and hopefully I'll know within two weeks or so.

As you know I had some nerve blocks on Saturday and so far I'm still feeling the benefits but boy am I still feeling wrecked, I only had sedation but it always effects me like this for at least a week, in a way I'm way too tired to travel to Dublin for this app even if it is only an hour away! My hips and left leg hurt like hell. Pauli is finishing work a little earlier so he can drive me.

I'll let yee know later.

Anyone any news? How are yee getting on, please do tell....

Chat later

Sinéad xxx :)

Sinéad...... Sure hope & pray the trip to Dublin for the letter of approval comes thru with a real positive for the SCS.

Since you asked; will tell.....lately, when getting up in the a.m., the legs really ache and walking very painful. It seems like things are getting worse in this area and of course, causes worry.

As we know, sometimes not easy to keep a smile. But, try so hubby's day is not all gloom.

Prayin,
(Gerry)

p.s. I am so proud that hubby showed me how to get the dash above the "e" in your name. As previously mentioned, his dad was from County Cork.

Hi Gerry

Thank you for your lovely message! Ivd no news of today really, it's a waiting game now. Well done on the e fada (é) it should work for all the vowels á é í ó ú

Good to hear your hubby is an Irishman, you'll both be very welcome to Cork someday, they have a beautiful accent and some of the most amazing countryside you'll wonder why did he ever leave.

I'll chat tomorrow cause I'm tired.

Love to all

Sinéad :)

Hi Jan, Ger and mis amigos otro

Hi guys,

I meant to say Ger, I'm sorry to hear about your legs am, have to admit mine are the same and I need to get up to move my legs and hips, that seems to help but I think like your my pain can be worse in the mornings.

Well Jan, after the nerve blocks the best day I had was Sunday, I even went over to my sister around the corner for a BBQ, I was there for a good while which can be difficult for me. I'm definitely feeling better from them but it's not enough if you know what I mean.

How are your guys today? After two weeks of summer in Ireland, it's lashing rain but very humid.

Chat soon

Ah yes Sinead the good old Irish weather.....four seasons in one day is not unusual....AND getting the Winter in the Summer is also typical of our upside down weather.....maybe we should be renamed Australia :D :D

Hope your feeling a bit better today Sinead and also that you hear very very soon about your SCS and that the insurance will cover this one too:hug:

Take care

Jackie
