Default pain pump fear

Going for prialt trial soon, and I'm scared. I have RSD and have tried it all. If all goes well with prialt, the pump will be next. I sooo want reduced pain and pain meds, but can't help being scared. Any advice?
Thank you

Smile Hello Shewarrior!

Welcome to the group!

Just like your user name suggests --->> WARRIOR ! This you are
The great thing about these things is being able to do the trial first. Plus, if you're hooked up with a Dr whom you trust and have good communication with, then that's half the battle, yes?

I'm glad you saw Vodkaknocker's success thread (Thank you Vodka!!)
Also, like Mark mentioned, you can do a member search and find Bobinjeffmo. Once you are on his profile page, there is a thing you can click on called "find more posts by this member". He's a real good one to read up on.

Here's Mudrat's thread. He's very helpful!
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ight=pain+pump Same thing, get on his profile page. He's actually an active member and I bet if you left a visitor message on his page, he'll be glad to help answer Q's.

I am somehow 'assuming' Mudrat is a 'he'..... these neutral-gender user names can be tricky! Forgive me Mudrat if I have misinterpretted your gender!

There are more. One of the best ways to seek them out is to do a 'search'. You can find the 'search' buttons near the top of the page. Just type in "Pain Pump" and it'll bring up posts for you.
Just holler if you need help finding the searches.

We're all here for you! We've all been in the 'hot seat' and completely understand the fear you are facing. The support here is astounding.

It's great to have you here!

Rae
