We may have to sponsor a miniconvention in February on the heels of me writing that portion of the bar exam. Funny, today, I was sitting in a diner for some lunch studying after jury duty. My young wait person asks what I am studying. I reply "Oh, I am taking a portion of a Bar Exam tomorrow." Her reply "oh, like for mixing drinks and such?"
We chuckled at the nuance after I explained it was more relating to the practice of law..... She wished me well. So, T maybe we get Andy and Larry and me and you and your husband in February and have a steak or something to celebrate our blessings, and one more test behind me........ Mark56 |

has a place on the Salena/Prosper city limits. I think he's actually on the Selena side. He's off the county Rd. just north of Dion Sanders' suburban sprawl. My wife Barbara and I live in The Hill Country northwest of San Antonio and if there's one thing I hate worse than driving in S.A., it's having to drive in and through Dallas. Freeways my rear end, BAH HUMBUG! We go in from the Denton side which we find a lot easier on the nerves, wellll, maybe not a lot easier but easier. Heck, there just ain't no easy way to git there from here!! |

I thought you were going to reveal something especially interesting, such as that you or T were at least part "native" to the continent as I am a wee portion...... Oh well..... sometimes there are faux pas and sometimes there are cool new pieces of information.

Lol, my niece lives in prosper on the south side of Deion's monster, and construction through there is terrible!! Small world. We are in the Sherman area, about 30 miles further north, but we get down there quite a bit.

Grateful.
Been all day long today without the neck brace. Yes, this is about three days ahead of the meet with my surgeon, but things just worked out this way today. Time to move on, eh? Doing well. Others,...... well, they were shocked to see me without brace. Wondered at pain. I told them there was none; that is, none other than that which is managed by my SCS just buzzing along. Life awaits. Resumption of my bike riding awaits. I want, very much want release to ride my bike again. This will be good. Yeah, and I am grateful as well to Veterans who have served, honor they know is well deserved, Mark56 |

Oh how I know the SCS helps. This evening, I charged up the device, my Boston Scientific Precision Plus rechargeable SCS device. Wanting to know.... I "turned it off."
PAIN!!!! That burning nemesis, the gates of Hades opened wide into my nervous system was Right THERE!! This gem does work. Does do its job. Does bring relief where, but for it, I would be numbed out on the tragedian levels of opiates to manage pain. With this device and God's sure help, I have been able to wean off of all pain meds, so..... confirmation. It works. A self programmed SCS which has enabled me to resume life in big ways despite being hampered by nerves and nervous system which are flaky. I feel blessed, Yup, Mark56 |

Mark you have come a long way with the help of your SCS.......I too feel blessed to have mine.
Occasionally I turn off mine just to see if it REALLY does help me.......and the answer: OH YES IT DOES I too suffer with awful burning and tingling and it really , really does help with that. WE are lucky that we have this instrument.......we sure are Jackie Quote:
