Default Still

Still benefiting from the stim. It works!
Nerves still react angrily, and when I dial down the stim to modulate signal....an effort to avoid "memory" effect, I learn very real and for sure WHY I have the stim.

Spasms? Thanks for asking, yes, they still happen at the most in opportune moments, and painfully; but, I can get along......and do.

I still very much believe stim was well worth it. Gee whiz, I have my career re-established Just Because I Agreed To Take The Risk. Count me glad.

Yup,

Thumbs Up Wow ... I see this group is still pulsing along!

Pulsing along...I like that expression!

I really have thought about this group many times over the months.
So hard to believe I'm at 2.5 years with this Stim... STILL love it.

Doesn't do much for all the joint damage (ever hear of "expansion syndrome"? I hadn't ... and wish I didn't hear about it where it is applied to my knee!!) but have finally found an excellent supplement that helps with that part so ... between that for degeneration pain and the SCS for neuro-pain - I'm a Cappy Hamper (love spoonerisms!)

Smile 5 years.....

5 years indeed.....
Can you believe it?
I was always kinda wonderin who's battery would go first, yours or mine? ha!
These things just keep buzzin right along....

Cyber space led us both here around the same time. I'll never forget your first post. I immediately thought, "Hmmm, now here's a good guy!"
I can't even begin to guess how many countless people you've helped throughout these past years, both by your threads and the personal touch you put to each and everybody's post who comes along.

Thank you Mark

Cool Smirk

A simple, acknowledging 'Thanks' is not enough. I have been here just 7 months, but from the start picked up on the fact that you, Mark, are someone who fills his Posts with consideration and Heart.

We would be greatly diminished without you.

Dave.

Sorry that outcome has been awful for to this point. I posted on another thread my hope that your doc can help you through this.

I remember all too well how IT hurt before this was partially resolved with stim.

Partially resolved you might ask? Well yes, the stim addresses part of my system, and my injuries were from bottom to top of the spine. So, I cope as to the upper regions.....in part because I am just plain tired of having people poke around in my spine.

Hoping the best for you.

Heart It's been a while

Hey guys it's been a while.......too long really. But life has just gotten better and better. And long may that continue.

But I too have just celebrated my 5 year anniversary with my stim and boy does it hit the spot. The longer I have it the better it is now that it has finally settled into its place.

It has been an absolute godsend for me. Given me my life back and also my head too things were so dark and bleak back in those days before I got my stim and this has really changed. I too get out and walk everyday with my two dogs. I have a fabulous back garden now that I can go out and enjoy. Bought a new greenhouse too so I can Enjoy growing my own. Something I could only dream of back in those days before the stim.

Mark I'm so glad to hear all is this well with you. You have really come such a long way. Delighted to hear the career is back on track and you are cycling again. Wonderful.

This place was my saviour and I won't leave it too long before I come back again. Promise
Thank you all for all your input

Thanks for your update. With so much pain all around us; good to learn you are doing well; getting out and about, enjoying your garden and things that were once only a dream. Keep up the good positive upbeat attitude. Hope to hear from you now and again.
