Cool 16th August

New appointment with Neurosurgeon, Mr. Yiannis. I presume this is to discuss a new scs. Unfortunately they can't implant the battery and side leads in the last place as I've been cut open too much, so right side it is this time.

Managing on lots of meds .. Having problems with my neck which could be related .. Can't turn head to right our left without bad burning pain and numbness down arms .. Seeing osteopath today to see if he can do so,etching before going down the neuro route.

Hope you are all smiley x x

Heart Fake smiles here

And as you have pointed out my friend, with neck driven pain and numbness in arms, it is too much to Grin and Bear it; thus, I produce a fake smile when I can for the sake of those around me until we can fuse the cervical vertebrae.

Looking forward to another surgery, Nope. Wanting relief? Yup, I might even buy snake oil if it were available from some charlatan in an old west town if that existed these days.

Arghhhh...... you and me Saffy, you and me.....

Ahh Mark, I knew you would be one that replied. My physio says my neck is in spasm and thinks that the pain I am getting on both sides of my neck but particularly the right, which goes down to my elbow, is due to my using crutches for so long. I've been given a collar to wear when watching tv, but not all the time so as to get dependent on it.

Not allowed to drive as my insurance will be null and void ifi have an accident .. Frustrating.

The pain was so bad yesterday that although I am only supposed to have 20mg Zomorph, imwas taking 60mg and it still wasn't doing anything for the pain. Plus, taking diazepam like sweets .... 50mg at a time and then taking Tamazepam through the day just to try and sleep through the day to forget the pain.

Some days are poop.

Default Roger That

Some days are quite difficult,
tears come too easily,
Yes, my friend Saffy, we have been the object of many scalpels,
Nevertheless, there is HOPE in our future times,
Healing with management of pain yet beckons.
I will submit.
No choice.
Too much pain.
People tell me once again, my face is an open book turned to the pages of pain.
Beyond this chapter I yearn to live,
Yup,
I am praying for you, my friend, and for Eva, who has touched this thread, and hurts powerfully so,
I pray for her as well,
Prayin,
Humbled,
Mark56

Tkayewade, gOod to meet you too!
We're in in it together as they say ...

Am now having to wear at cervical collar which brings relief to the effort of having to hold my head up, and hey .. I'm pointing in the right direction.

Just getting ready for some sunshine here in the uk so have my sun parasol out and deck chair.
