Heart

.....adding my prayers too, Karen.

I'm happy your daughter has admitted her fault, as this truly does open the door to healing. It takes the power of God to intervene in this rebellious behavior. All of our prayers do indeed put into motion the Love and Peace that comes from God, and it is that Love which will cover over the pain and damage this is causing.

I too had a rebellious teen. I recall feeling as tho I had failed as a parent.
I had to send her to live with her dad who lived in another state and enroll her in school there. Looking back, I see that this was a 'cool-down' period that had to take place. This is also when we lost my dear little brother and I was overcome with grief as well.
Trusting in God is what brought us through the turmoil. Six months later my daughter was back with me and the healing began. It took alot of love and understanding, but the damages began to heal. She is now a beautiful 25-yr old woman with a good job and a son. We share a closeness that I never knew could be.

I pray that healing will come soon, Karen. Restoration and Peace will fall upon your household and everything will come full circle. This is my prayer.

Caring Deeply,
Rae

Oh Saffy!! That's great, and yes admitting is definitely the first step!

Will continue to pray and think of you.

Dear Daffy

I am so very sorry for all Hannah and her boyfriend and you are dealing with. Mental anguish and disease is terrifying. I have been down that road and pray I never see that path again. The heartache my husband and grown sons endured can not be forgotten or erased. I pray that God sends his angels to surround you and your daughter to help you through the dark days.
Sending love and prayers your way.

You are and will remain in my prayers. Like so many of us, I had a troubled child also. Without dwelling on details, I was forced to put her in a private residential treatment program for four years. Her behavior didn't improve that much but lots of good seeds were sewn there and she finally got herself turned around after 12 years of frightening behaviors and choices. She is now a married mother of two little boys and a successful business woman. Her husband is every mother's dream. We are with you in prayer. Best wishes.
