i knew you understood
the level of pain in that
picture was an 8
the rope behind me
i used as the apparatus
had things that allowed
me to push into it and
go up and down
i was in tears at times
but i hide them well
my cane awaits me
upon exiting as
the level of pain
because changes in
each step i took out
the pressure no words
to explain other than
utter pain to squeal
it would shatter glass
all over the world

Thank you! Sweating but happy if you can believe it! Glad to hear your love of the arts too. After all that is what we really leave of ourselves when we leave the earth. Working on one for a woman learning to be a chef. She is in school, loves music, born in Germany to American parents in the service, loves to read, home was in Main, and Vermont, has many passions including the lotus flower, her favorite. Some how I have crammed all those bits of her live in to a coherent and beautiful piece. Almost finished. I am going into my garage,(really a nice studio) to finish it up now. Keep on with creating. I would guess being in the water makes your body weightless. When you approach getting out the water the weight of your body knows the reality.

That is one of the biggest complaints....people always saying how good we look. That's because no one can see what is going on inside. I think we just learn somehow to cover so much of it up.

I have had a few mention to me "oh, I get backaches too; but just take Aleve and it really helps. You should try it". You just look and like....it is impossible for so many to understand and most never will. Just pray they don't ever know what it is like.
But, still nice to hear we are looking good. Right??

since i was a little girl i was
told i was a fat and this came
from my very own parents
i look at pictures upon pictures
and said
where is this fat little girl everyone
was talking about
guess what
nowhere
but they let me
believe that till i grew up and
learned to LOVE myself
i would not change myself
for anyone stayed true
to myself Amen!

You are ALL Beautiful in God's sight, and in mine, for that which we share from between the ears is the essence of the self. Even so, Eva, thank you for sharing photos of such beautiful ladies and your son. My Mom-in-Law refers to me as one of hers for I have been in the family quite a while now..

As for loss of feeling Eva, yup, I am guilty as charged as well, as I have no feeling in either leg below the knee and must use a cane. But, today, four of us walked to lunch near the office and I was complimented on how I have picked up my pace! That felt good.

I empathize with all of you and join in the shared group prayer of pain be minimized. To God be the glory we each have such blessings, as our children, and, yes, Ger the moment you recount with your son is precious. Nice to have perks from those we love, n'est ce pas?

Eva, all too often our parents have inflicted generations old harms upon us as children, because it was not known any better. I have ached for you in all you shared over time. With my wife and I, we went through counselling to understand generational pain so we could BREAK the repetition cycle with our own children. I will not ever claim we were perfect, but we have made the Christ led effort best we could.
