Life Giving Blessed Gratitude

I feel so BLESSED to be here this morning, clattering away at the keys,
cooling down from walking on the treadmill as I study for an exam,
thanking the Lord for ALL life has brought to this point
SO my heart would be prepared to claim the blessings,

How BLESSED AM I to feel energized to leap into another day of negotiation,
contemplation, representation, and helping those around me to succeed,
How BLESSED AM I to know from whom my soul is quenched in thirst satisfying love,
How BLESSED AM I to know peace, joy, love, comfort, nurture, and shared faith with my beloved wife,
How BLESSED AM I to have relation with our children which allows interaction, blessings reciprocated, and joy,
How BLESSED AM I to know all of you as my friends,
and
to be held in the embrace of the Lord,

Yes, I do believe you can find this song on U-tube. It is off his latest CD I believe he said. He also did another song, about his mother, who raised him alone. I will try to track it down myself today, see if I can find it too. I actually missed the introduction to the song, but perked right up when he shouted Jesus. In fact everybody perked up. His name is Walter Trout, one of the headliners.
I listen to the blues alot Mark. Pray through the tears. I had a moment of absolute clarity under the heavens last night, lived in the moment and thanked God for that experience. I had my son beside me, and realized how precious the moments we have on earth really are. This was a touch of heaven on earth. xxxginnie

I hope you feel better today. I did go for that walk this morning to thank God. I was surprised at how God entered into yesterdays picture so clearly.

it's really got a hold on me
my sweet angel Eva head butt
me
the frighting thing is
it was directly on top the
crown if you will
the headache is a monster
at the moment of contact
something caused electrical
charges throughout my neck
down both arms more powerful
on right than left stopping at elbows
it feels bruised
this was always a fear of mine
and she cried it was so hard
anyhow blessed another day
hoping to see her soon
my depression is at its worse
i had a session with my shrink
and it certainly was a good one
"it's about time you started talking
about yourself"
i was shocked
i thought i was speaking to him
about me
apparently not
it was clarifying
i am it to them
and they have to grow up
at some point in their lives
but the depression is
and it affects all in life
i FEEL WORTHLESS
AND AS THIS I PRAY TO PASS
it is such a horrible way to feel
waiting
bless us Lord
hear our prayers
as thy will be done

save this body
help it come along
with no more disease
i have a birthday coming
around the corner
allow me to wake up grateful
may justice prevail throughout
the rest of my life
