The most uncomfortable part of the procedure was how much of it I was very much awake and coherent. It was definitely not something I ever want to go through again but – preliminary testing of the device during implant, and now working with it here @ home, it appears to have an even higher area of pain-control than the trial! This was a big part of our prayers since I knew there was only one small area that was being missed.

I feel very confident this may result in a near 100% pain control – something I literally did not expect to have until we all have our glorified bodies. I still look forward to that as much as ever but in the meantime God is so good to allow me to find a doctor so committed to getting to the root and finding a way to stop at least a measure of the chronic suffering.

Thank you for your prayers and support!

P.S. Mark, if/when you're able to read this, know I am remembering you OFTEN in my thoughts and prayers.
Yay, Andy!! So happy to hear your great report post-surgery! Wow, sounds like this might truly be a wonder-treatment for you! What an answer to prayer, and a relief to not only you, but your loving family as well. I will keep praying for you to have a speedy and complete recovery. The Great Physician is the the one in charge, and we know He's a good one!

Take care!
Jan

Smirk

.....does that smiley face up yonder <--- look 'stoned', or is it just me??

What a beautiful group of people! Andy, how wonderful! It's safe to say that we've all bonded on an unparallelled level....
Your precious wife included! What would we do without our loving spouses who have been by our sides during the struggles our pain has caused. I think THEY deserve a special blessing straight from Heaven above.

I think this FORUM has been a special blessing from Heaven above!

Luv to all,
Rae

Just wondering since there had been problem with Felix in belly if you gave any thought to the "new Felix" going more toward the butt?? Seems like so many are in that area. Hope you will not have to wait too much longer.
