Frown

Fever has been normal today thank goodness. My rt hand that has exhibited minimal symptoms up until this point, is purple ans swollen and crooked up. Strange. I'm calling the dr. Tomorrow. This revision surgery has not been fun. I think the spread and the cold snap and working unyil surgery (with zero appreciation)didn't help. I also feel more depressed. I don't even want to get up. I guess because of the circumstances of the revision. It shouldn't have happened. They rarely do paddle revisions ESP <90 days since original surgery. My back hurts. A lot. Ice helps, but I have spread there so now I'm wondering do I even use it? Ugh, rsd- really sucks. Sorry, I usually don't speak like that but I'm just wondering why things keep getting worse instead of better.

Arrrrrgggghhhhh....I have been crying a lot. Can you tell?

Hi
Weather changes here in So. Cal. too. In the 90's & 100's last week. This week in the 60's & 70's and a chance of rain.
My husband had surgery last week and is home recovering with lots of restrictions. Stress of business and home has caused increased pain levels in both my abdomen and back. Scs is only giving some relief. Looking forward to a restful night.

Default I'm here too :)

Hi all on this lovey autumnal Monday morning in Ireland.

Feeling very tired as I had a rough night. I've developed pain in my left arm, shoulder, and neck and it comes in waves can't explain what it is. Could just be muscular. I dunno. Am moving house in a few weeks time and I have boxing up some stuff so that isn't helping either. But it has to be done

Hope your all feeling good today. Have a Happy Monday

Jackie

good news on the fever...keep checking for flare ups. So true about working till surgery date...I had to do that a few times. The stronger you go in the stronger you come out so take that into consideration.
just a thought here...try to sit up and get some semi deep breaths...could be the anestesia still woking it's way out of you causing what may feel like depression.
Be gentle on yourself...cry all you want...hydrate..
I join the group in sending streams of healing thoughts to you.

Sorry you are dealing with all this aggravation TK. I hope things ease up soon. I wanted to tell you to please be cautious in using ice. If you have RSD, ice alone can cause a spread. Ice is one of the #1 things "they" say not to use.

I have been having many up and down days myself, so I can appreciate where you are coming from.

I truly hope you get some relief soon!

Default I am still here....

still here lurking around

I have had a pretty rough time lately. The pain is horrible and getting worse. My SCS's help somewhat, but they do not reach everywhere I have RSD. But I would be lost without them. My hands reminded me yesterday of how bad they can hurt...boy did they!

Anyway, I am here...miserable, but here

Yes, it's funny how the weather can affect your pain .. Autumn here in the uk now and the cold is damp and awful. Tomorrow I intend to stay in bed!
