Welcome

Hi Ashley
Welcome. We all know what you are going through. Thinking you've found a solution to chronic pain and then the worry and panic sets in. Ask any any all questions . I'm sure someone has an answer.
I had the Boston Scientific model implanted a year ago August for seven years of chronic abdominal pain due to pancreatic problems. After many years of meds that gave little relief and seeing specialists in many states a pain management specialist said he heard the scs helped abdominal pain and did lots of research for me. The scs has given me 60℅ relief which has helped me resume so much of my life.
I know my situation is very different from most people here but I am an example of success.
Good luck in your search for info and relief of pain. Wishing you success with your trial and hopefully permanent implant.

Sorry for such a late welcome!

I'm Theresa, usually known as TK. :) I love these people. They took me in and have helped me so much the last few months! I have gone with questions, concerns, cried, frustration, and everything in between! I wish you well!!

I'm okay for the most part but have had a rough go since July 2012.

Hopefully nightmare will end soon!!:(

Welcome!!!!!

How do I post my own thread?

Hey guys, sorry to post this here but could you please tell me how to write my own thread? I can't find it anywhere. I am also a back surgery patient Ash and I know what its like when it's unsuccessful. I have had 3 now but thankfully I can function whereas pre-surgery I couldnt, but the pain is immense. I wish you all the best. It sucks being young and in so much pain :(

On the first page of each forum is a button at the top left, called
"new thread"
You click on that and a text box will open for you to start a new thread. Choose your title carefully, as it cannot be edited by you after it is posted. If you make an error in a post or want to add to it, the "edit" button is at the bottom of the post, near the middle of the post. You have 24 hours to correct or change something. Then that window closes and the edit button will disappear.

The "new thread" button only shows on the first page of each forum (the index page). It does not show when you are reading a post.

I hope this helps.;)
