Default Relief of lower back pain

Last Monday my PM doctor did a diagnostic lumbar block for lower back arthritis and a bulging disc. which showed great pain relief. My next step is a lumbar radio frequency neurotomy which cauterizes the affected nerves and will block the pain for up to two years. The temporary relief for two days was very welcome.
My scs continues to offer great relief for my abdominal pain and the setting my rep added for my lower back seems to help some.
My pain in my lower back has been horrible and I hope the radio frequency neurotomy helps

Wishing you less pain tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks for this, Sandy! How glad I am to hear that you responded well to the block! Did the injection hurt at all?
I'm going to ask my doc about these treatments to see if he'll be willing to give me the possible opportunity for some relief in my back, especially the spasms. I have a slight scoliosis in my lumbar and some degeneration which might be the cause for all I know.....

My SCS is doing a great job of the lower extremity Rsd, but my back is driving me outta my mind!

I sure hope this will be your ace in the hole!
When are you planning on getting the radio frequency?

Hi Rae

They did the injection while I was under twilight sleep. Didn't feel a thing. I hope you find some relief. I arrived at the office at 5:45 am and was in the car on the way home an hour later.
