Ashley do hang in there. You pain will subside. It can be a bit painful but it will pass and then you will be a happy bunny

What Jackie says is right. Try not to get discouraged these first couple of days. I layed on ice for the most part and didn't even really get outta bed.
By day 3 & 4, you'll begin to feel better about everything and the surgical pain and swelling will begin to ease up.

It was the second or third day for me when I started crying after my wife asked how I felt.....

I FELT SO GOOD!!! There was a definite replacement of pain with Buzz. I pray this will be your lot, for the poke of the Trial surgery is pretty transitory usually as the percutaneous leads are not so very invasive as the laminectomy and insertion of the paddles with the permanent implant.
