Default Off to hospital

Just getting up as the kids will be picking me up in a few hours. The fighting has begun already. The older daughter has canceled out on going over to the other daughter's house for a Christmas meal. The younger one is working until 1 and then doing some shopping before coming to the hospital to pick me up. She said she has gotten tomorrow off to bring me home. Uh, this wasn't the plan. She says the doctor said I won't need to stay at the hospital overnite and could actually make the long bumpy ride home tonite if I wanted to. I was planning on staying there until the weekend. I have been down this road before and was hoping it wouldn't happen again. I am getting too old for this. I didn't make any backup plans in case I got dumped off before I felt ready. That was one base I didn't think to cover. Will post when I get home...........hopefully in a few days. I plan on raising seven kinds of hell in post op so they will hold me overnite as I don't want to lay around biting my lip all night. Y'all be good.

Oh dear Spine..... you are a person with Much Backbone, as your name indicates, and if one is acting out improperly for their convenience..... you have the means to BLAST them [to use my acronym in a "different" way] so as to make Right what you need.

Remember from my PM, my offer still holds if you are going to have horrific difficulty attending to your needs.

Rest well... be aware you are surrounded by the Lord's care and our prayer.
May all happen and come together to the good for you,
Merry Christmas,
Mark56

Thinkin of you dear Spine

This too shall pass.......meanwhile, keep up your strong will and make yourself be heard. You are a tuffy, yet I hope that things will go smoothly for you. I pray that your 'kids' will come thru for you and that you will be as comfortable as possible after the procedure.

We'll be anxious to hear back from you, only when you are up for it tho.

Caring Always,
Rae

Best of luck Spine. I hope you get thru this with ease. Don't go anywhere until you are ready that was always my motto when I was in hospital. It's your call.

Take care

Jackie

dear Spine

there is so much going on around with
our own children
as it is with mine
it's amazing though
when the tiniest would go wrong
i get the burnt end
the need to call mommy
she will know what to do
she could be ill but what the hell
she always comes through
so i wish for you as i feel you can take charge
as i must as in the end only i know what
is really going on
you come through this with all the
help needed and get to where you are in
comfort in your own bed and continue to do what is
necessary for Spine
