Well. .. I've been told Ive to urgently lower my meds as I am on overdose level .. But, little by little. Second, he suggested so,etching called Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation. There are only 20 people in Europe who have this at the moment as its a very new procedure and they don't know the long term risks etc, but yes, of course I put my hand up. They are having a meeting on the 18th to discuss my case and I wonder if my surgeon, who I am seeing on the 28th will mention anything. It was just a routine appointment to check how my wound is doing but maybe he will have more news on the above. Now I am going to get in bed and sleep. He said no wonder I was tired taking 150mg Amatryptilline a night .. He was very concerned about my meds and has advised me to cut out one but keep it handy if I need it, and he is writing to my doctor so I shall get at appointment with her. At the mo I am on 60mg 12 hour release zomorph twice a day 30mg diazepam once or twice a day 40ml tramadol 6 times a day 20mg tamazepam at night 150mg Amatryptilline at night 40mg omeprazole twice a day 30mg Prozac a day 1000mg paracetamol for breakthrough pain Enema twice a week ... No explanation necessary |

You are on a LOT.....dare I say a LOT? I empathize with you at being so medicated, well, over medicated, and pray your titration down will bring you to safer levels and an equilibrium of pain management which may plug you up less. I remember all of the prunes I ate because morphine stops things from happening. Ick.
Prayin for ya regarding that consideration pertinent to the ganglion procedure as those who are both in the know and learning may come to feel you are a good candidate. Prayin for your wound to be healed. well, just prayin, M56 |

It would be great if you could bring this up at your appt and he gives you a straight answer regarding the ganglion stimulation. Perhaps this will be something within your grasp! Never lose hope! Caring, Rae |

A 'Ganglion', you see, is a rare dragon that lives in the higher altitudes of North America. They especially like the 'rocky' mountainous terrain

I may have eaten Ganglion at one of those remote "we serve what we kill" restaurants which specialize on Friday nights in "road kill."
