Default 1 Week post SCS implant

Hi everyone,

Well I am one week post surgery, pain has been strong but manageable with the prescription pain killer my Dr. gave me, but it makes me really loopy.
I saw the Dr. today and had 18 staples taken out of my back and butt area.

The wounds were much larger than I expected, I also had a fair amount of bruising which my doctor was all apologies about. Luckily for me I have my mother here to do the sterile dressing changes, and tomorrow I get my first shower in 8 days, YIPPIE ...........

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions to get prepared for the surgery, my new best friend is my extend arm, it has suction cups on the ends and even can pick up a dropped pill.

I had the lecture again yesterday from my BS rep and my doctor about my limitations for the next 7 weeks. I would not want to do this again due to my being careless so I will be a good patient

Bye, Kim
