Thumbs up Wow

Well, I went to see my dr. Who did my thoracic scs back in July and revision in October. As long as insurance runs through and everything is smooth, I am getting my permanent implant 3/13/13 at 8 am. I'm ecstatic. When they pulled my temp yesterday, I almost cried. The pain came back so badly, and I didn't sleep at all. I'm excited, but nervous. He said the cervical surgery is tougher due to neck muscles and the like. However, I say nothing could be tougher than those awful blood clots. If I can have drug free relief like I experienced last week, a few weeks of pain is worth it. I hope everyone else is well! all the waiting is worth it now.

Know the feeling of having the trial removed. It was/is worth the wait to me. Best wishes.

I could have warned you that the beast does not like to be ignored! Take your medications and use heat or what ever it takes to help with your pain. Rest and be ready for next week! z

Thank you, everyone!!

Yellow- I know! My perm. Surgeon is amazing. He is the best. I'm nervous, but I know he will take care of me and the relief will be awesome. I worry about high placement (C2) but my doc is meticulous. I'm always nervous before surgeries, though. Speaking of that, I know yours is very soon! Lots of luck it will get both of yours being proper again!!

It's always the best feeling to have a doctor you can trust. And thanks! Mine is the day after yours so we'll be recovering together
