Default A little help needed!

Hi all, I'm new and from the UK. I am needing a little help and can't find many answers over here so I was hoping anyone can help. I have CRPS type 2 in my left knee, left ankle and on and off in both hands I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted (battery in right buttock). This happened at the age of 15 (turning 29 at end of July). Myself and my husband have been trying for a baby for the last 12 months after coming off lyrica (Pregabalin) no joy so far. My pain nurse specialist has told me not to have scs on for the 1st 12 weeks of pregnancy no other information but I am wondering if the scs could be stopping me from falling pregnant? Does anyone else have any experiences they can share that would be helpful?
Thanks all in advance
Helen

hi Helen,
I have no experience to give me advice for your concerns.
I do know others will be here shortly for feedback; compassion and a greeting.

Smile Hello Helen!

Welcome Aboard!

You ask an EXCELLANT question! I'm sorry you too battle this CRPS monster.
It seems as tho this subject has been brought up in the past. I'll try to find the posts if possible.

I found a couple of articles online that may offer some insight:
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1...240.x/abstract

This one gives much better information:

Here is a thread in which pregnancy was discussed:

I hope this helps a bit.
Do stick around! You've come to a great place for support!

Caring,
Rae
