Default SCS turned on by itself?!

Has anyone ever had this happen?

I got ready for church this morning, have not even had to turn buzzer on at all for quite some time and so did not have the thingy with me so that I could turn it on if I wanted to. I left for church, by car...parked the car and went into the church.

Well, lo and behold, I started feeling that buzzing in both leg and bum areas! Had to go back home so I could turn it off!

How in the world could it have turned on all by itself? It's a mystery to me!

Default Hi Kymmie

Good seeing you!

Sorry to say I have not had a "turn on by itself" experience......

Although I do not recall any reading relevant to potential alternate signal sources, I wonder whether the little wonder is at all susceptible to radio waves, cell phone signals, and the like..... could be some other signal "switched you on." Huh...... I am mystified.

Default strange

Hi Kimmie,
well first how wonderful that you have enough pain relief that you can go extended times with it off.

I have not had my unit turn on by itself although there are certain automatic doors will turn it off for a good two minutes. There are times when it is OFF that I do feel it in a low buzz. Once when I had a bad cold I had a full shock thru the lines when I went into a coughing fit....and it was OFF.

Since you actually had to get the remote to turnit off....my guess is something electronicly in your vicinity triggered it on.

another mystery
Johanna

Hi Kymmie! Great to see you!

I have had my thoracic stim turn on by itself. My laptop battery had to be the culprit...I put my laptop bag over my shoulder and the stim started. It happened a couple of times so I figured it had to be the battery. Also, at times when I would be lying down, I would feel stimulation in my legs and it was turned off...and off for days.

It hasn't happened in a while, but it has happened

If you were close to a magnet that could cause it also. Mine does anyway. Off and on. Mine has also been turned off by security things in the store. That's awesome that your pain has gone away enough that you aren't even having to use it! I never turn mine off!!

Thank you for the replies!

The turning on incident was really strange. I was not near any magnets or electronics of any kind. No automatic doors at church either, so it really does continue to be a mystery to me!
