I am estranged from my poet
Someone I admired and proud of
her accolades
Climbing out of her depression
After a life changing surgery
As I was there lifting her Spirit when down
a highschool sweetheart now married to him
Not to be at the wedding
As she was angry with me
And now to be put down
And told I should have never had
Children
I don't care how angry she is with me now
To wish not to be born
And to think our relationship was strong
How wrong was I
I have done literally everything I have all her years
Still down to purchasing her undergarments
As her husband was out of work for so long
To her glasses needed to see
Giving of my monies for her necessary Meds that
she cannot be missing as an epilectic
Went through 19 days sleeping in a chair when in the
hospital
On more than one occasions
To have raised her to be a strong
independent woman
To have no man in your life to define
who you are
Close very close
Allowing her to use my home for a venue
to have her features and named it
The skyline sessions

And to express her disregard to a clean up after the
last event in the week of my birthday just forgotten
Is now a reason not to call her the exact time she was
born like I have all there lives
Not this year
She made it clear how I shouldn't have had children
To take the few moments in life I remember with such joy
and have her rip that from me
The lesson I will not call on her special day of recognition
Do I like doing this no
However I have to make a stand for myself
I raised her till she left my home at thirty years old
This the child I always say
A few more Saraeves in the world
It would be a beautiful place

Only you know what is in my heart
It doesn't feel good
I will follow through
And it will hurt
There is a point where I am not a friend

Was able to attend Easter worship today, and in this am blessed.

Was able to write to my dear friend, and thus doubly blessed.

Was able to enjoy dinner this eve with family, still blessed some more.

did not sleep well at all

I am indeed, blessed to have a loving husband, blessed to have found a job that pays me to do what I'm good at, blessed to be able to actually do the job. If I haven't said thank you much of late, I'm sorry, thank you indeed.
