helped me understand if what he
might find "be cracked or broken"
can cause what is going on
another is a test that will reveal clotting
and another is something about a certain protein
that is found in Lupus patients
this "protein" is also found in non Lupus patients
both heredity

Those results all mean nothing to me, they might as well be written in Latin. I sometimes wonder whether we have the best system, the test results go to the requesting Dr first, they call you in if there are any anomalies and everything is explained at your appointment. You can ask for your results, but without interpretation of complex tests, what is the point?

I hope it isn't too long before you are back for answers.

this is all the blood tests that will be taken
a process of elimination
two of the test are on a genetic level

for example
the fact that my maternal mother
has a trace of lupus
there is a protein that is in lupus
this protein is also found in patients and tested positive
to have the same who don't have lupus
and it is a cause of severe bruising
the DX: coagulation
and again remember David
the doctors have no clue what the heck is happening
but
the pictures show otherwise
it is ALL a process of elimination
some of the blood to be taken needs to go into dry ice
something he could have done himself
in his office
as there is a wonderful friend Ron
who draws and spins my blood taken
no dry ice allowed since 911
there are also two specific tests
that would be a bummer if found to be positive
is mutation
all the required test are causatory factors for the bruising
the dimer test will tell the doctor if clotting is happening
and on and on and on

i am scared
until whatever is causing this
new unwelcomed visit
that something is wrong

if anything eliminating as much sugar as possible
my cancer is estrogen driven
and this particular cancer looks for and feeds off SUGAR
no injuries

other than the cramping of the fingers and toes
out of control in the last two weeks
and i drink my water

so again
just listed what he is hoping to rule out
just another thing on my plate to deal with
just scares me enough
to say to those out there
what is going on with ME
and share for others who
just may be asked to have some bloodwork
someone may recognize

as i also knew my neck something other than the spine
my gut is all i needed
it never failed me
and i kept losing weight nobody

I found my cancer
Despite getting my mammo every year at the same
place since I was thirty five

i love my oncologist and he has been listed in my providers
manuel as a hematologist also so of course i will stay with him
hope my explanation is better understood

Sleep not what I had hoped for

I have picked my doctors
By my health insurance provided by my municipal job
Now the lousy screwed up system we have going on
just makes matters worse
This country has things butt backwards on some very important
points

I look in the mirror and just want to break down
Every single picture that is taken of me
my face is all words of pain
I look pathetic the pain shines through
rather than the smile I try to put on my face
My eyes tell it all
My dog too
Looking into his eyes
My dog has Cushing's disease
He has all the symptoms and signs of the disease
Looking into his eyes
I could read him so well
He is getting old and tired
With me together we are one
The pains of our body has taken over

Your explanation is crystal clear, the stress of waiting for results is sometimes as bad as the ailments.

I, too, hope that you do not have to add another Dr to your Roster, 3 is enough. I was happy to stop seeing my Oncologist despite him being one of the best, for his work on me was done.

I do not have photos taken of myself, I am a mess, my eyes are sunken, dull and lifeless. Why would anyone want to see that? Why would I want a reminder of what I have become, I rarely glance in a mirror.

well my friend
i am sorry you feel like that about yourself
self confidence
i have to a point
i am not vain
nor do i say you even hint of such a thing
taking pictures are important in my case
then i must also say
with much thaught
i have pictures of my breasts in a
portrait way
to have a botched job done on them
my last surgery
is something i am so glad to have it
in a frame in my room
my child took the pictures
i had said i needed to post the left hand also shown to the
oncologist my daughter is the only one
so here goes
she is posting left hand
starts with piercing pain
vein will swell
burst
then bruise
doctor glad i had taken them
as he said
"something is clearly going on"
