Thank you ALL so very much for the birthday wishes! You have each touched my life in a very special way, and I am blessed to know you all!

My husband has gone out of his way to make today - my 50th birthday - special! We started by going to the local Farmer's Market on the Island to get some beautiful organic veggies, and then spent a good chunk of the day at a HUGE local antique mall. It is SO big and I was hurting so bad when we were only about half-way through, but to quote Pam, "I put my big girl pants on and soldiered through!" Didn't buy anything there, but had such a great time looking. Then we went to buy some supplies for the dwarf goats we are getting in a couple of weeks, and are ending the evening with homemade pizza on the grill and homemade coconut cake. Yum!!!! I am 5 lbs. away from my weight loss goal (23 lbs. lost so far!), but I figure the diet can just be darned for tonight!

And I've had calls from all of the kids . .. I wish they didn't live so far away, but I am also happy and blessed that they have happy, productive lives, and I know I will see them all soon enough throughout the summer.

Thanks again for being such a special part of my special day! I love you all!
