Default Scs ?

Medtronic RestoreSensor SureScan MRI Neurostimulator or The Boston Scientific Precision?
My neurosurgeon just told me that he could remove the current SCS with Paddles from my spine and replace it. My current one surges to much which causes much pain every time I move my neck or back. Rep could never get it to stop surging and now it has been almost 3 years. I feel the Medronic will be my best bet because it automatically adjusts stimulation based on the patient's needs and preferences in different body positions. My appointment is next week with my pain doctor to discuss which unit. Can someone please give me some advice and does anyone currently have this new Medtronic currently implanted. Thank you so much.

Default Pooh

I think she has a new Medtronic....
She may reach out and give thoughts.
It is her fourth unit over the years.

Mine is Boston Sci. I have liked mine. It still works just fine 4 1/2 years into usage history.

I hope your choice is absolutely the best for you!

Default Other choice...

The FDA approved a new SCS in May, the Nevro Senza. I have started a new thread, to try to get feedback from those who are using it. Or, info from anyone who can provide info regarding the Senza vs the other brands.

Good luck, i am trying to decide to have a SCS.
