I have two dogs who are NOT of any service but company and they look troubled and sympathetic if problems occur. If I were lying unable to get up, one would probably bring me her ball to throw. (she loves her ball.)
Some people (If they're still around) have service animals, some have unofficial ones. My one dog would never let anyone touch me if that person were unknown. She lies at my feet and glares. What would you want yours to do?

I guess I really don't need one, but wish I had one, all the same.
They are great company.

Good thing I live far way or I'd be having fun at the local shelter getting a new Pal for you to give you while we drink tea. (A cuppa my Aunties called it.)
