Default Hard to maintain an erection

Everything started maybe 6 years ago, It was going to be my first time with a girl, it made me very excited waiting for it, and I think it all began with an anti-smoking add which involved erection problems, and It probably got into my sub-conscious or something, but I think that was the point where i started feeling problems with my erection that were never there before.

Anyway, i still was able to masturbate, but even alone it was pretty hard to maintain it, and back then, the aim of the doctor that I went to was to help me penetrate, and, he thought, it will all just go away. He perscribed me with Levitra, which didin't help, and after a few more fruitless visits I was sent to a psychologist who told me to "just try", so after paying for that advice i kind of just gave up on doctors.

Time passed and now, when alone, i rarely have problems when I'm sitting or lying down, but when i'm standing up - erection goes away pretty quickly, I also had sex on several occasions, some times it didint feel like a problem, other times it did.

I'm dating a new woman and I just don't want this problem to be in the way anymore and I would appreciate any advice.
